VSWare is the school management information system that is used in Coláiste Cois Siúire. It allows parents to:
- Explain lates/absences from school
- Track assessments and student outcomes
- Monitor your child’s wellbeing and see behaviour records
- Receive VSmail message from the school about important information
VSWare can be accessed via the free mobile app or via colaistecoissiuire.vsware.ie.
Parents will receive a text notification containing their VSWare username to setup accounts at the start of first year and can request a reminder of this at any time from the school office. Families with multiple children attending CCS will see all siblings under one account. This means that if your son or daughter is absent from school, late to school or is leaving school early, this must be explained via VSware only.
Here is what parents need to do:
- Download and use the VSware Parent App.
- Make sure you switch on VSware notifications on your device – find out how here.
Parents can continue to login to VSware via an internet browser if they wish: colaistecoissiuire.vsware.ie
Any parent who wishes to get some one-to-one support using the VSware app can contact our HSCL Ms Brenda Curran, on 086 2043836 who will be happy to support through a school or home visit.
Note that the school homework journal is no longer being used to explain an absence/late/early departure. Please do not phone/email the school to explain an absence for your son/daughter unless in case of emergency.
If you are unsure about your VSware username please email info@colaistecoissiuire.ie or contact the school on 051895112.
VSware usernames are sent to the contact mobile number on the school system. Parents must ensure their contact number is up-to-date.
